Engr 1201:  Introduction to Engineering

A large portion of your grade will come from completing three assignments.  The first assessment will be completed entirely outside of class, the second assessment will be completed in class on Monday, Nov 11, and the third assessment will be completed on the final exam day, which is Monday, Dec 7.  Details on these assessments are below.

Assessment 1.  The purpose of this project is to help prepare you for landing a job in engineering.  There is an interim due date of Wednesday, September 30 to schedule your interview.  You must complete all six steps before Wednesday, October 14 in order to get any credit for this project..

Assessment 2.  This assessment will be completed in class on Monday, November 11.

Assessment 3.  The purpose of this project is to help prepare you for teamwork and design and to also give you practice in communicating your work both in writing and in person.  There is an interim due date of Monday, November 23 to turn in a rough draft of a portion of your work, and the final written report is due by Wednesday, December 2.  Students will present the final project in class on Monday, December 7.
