Math 307:  Elementary Algebra

Objectives

At the end of this course, students should understand the following:

• solution of linear equations and inequalities

• graphing of points and lines in a rectangular coordinate system

• introduction to functions

• solving systems of linear equations

• laws of exponents

• operations and factoring of polynomials

• real-world applications of these concepts
